Video installation in the glass pavilion by Bernard Tschumi. Groningen, Hereplein.
In the glass pavilion, that has a distinct skew, a perfect horizontal line of reflecting water was made visual on the long side of the glass walls. The pendant of this installation, the video installation ‘Illusion of control’ at the Damsterdiep parking, revers to water that is uncontrolable and will always go its own way, whereas the video installation for the Tschumi pavilion is about water that is in balance and in control.
