A man, who is filmed from under the water, is swimming back and forth. His perfect swimming technique and the way he is visualised over 3 screens gives a sense of control, that is also present in the bigger pendant of this work: video installation Control at the Tschumi Pavilion. In The Netherlands, the relationship with water remains ambiguous; on the one hand water means potential danger, but on the other, it playes a very positive role in our developement as a nation.
