A work in progress: a film installation based on a thought by Albert Camus: ‘In the light of the universe, the human condition is absurd, but the best thing one can do is to embrace that absurdity’. Three large screens present video images of 10 cities over a period of 10 years, with New York as the westernmost city and Bucharest as the easternmost. The installation offers an intense portrayal of urban life and, without commentary or judgement, depicts various political, everyday and cultural events.
